Went on a pseudo-roadtrip today. It snowed some more, so heading north or mid-state seemed unwise; Instead I went out with my HABS/HAER inventory of historic Westmoreland County buildings and looked around. Started off with the former Victor Brewing Company brewery in Jeanette, a classic red brick structure which sadly has seen some modifications which mar the structure.

Also visited some coal patch towns, namely Forbes Road, Hannastown, Crabtree, Luxor, and then headed south, passing through Madison, Whyel, Yukon and Wyano before losing daylight in Ruffs Dale by the Dillinger (Ruffsdale) Distillery.

Not as good as a trip into new territory, but at least it was some stuff.
